| There
will come a time when that old
stock can not be repaired.
In that case I am set up to build
custom stocks, or to simply
duplicate the old stock. I
use a duplicating machine for 75%
of the woodworking. Prices
start at $700. |
Your wood or mine, rough cut or completely
finished and checkered, you have the choice.
The big
variance in restocking is the
cost of the blank. You can find blanks for sale all over
the country from $70 to $3000
each. For your reference, I paid $400 for the two
piece blank above, and $300 for the piece
to the right.

Example
of fore-end jig. |
I will need the entire gun.
Stock dimensions are critical in
relation to the rest of the piece, let
me know what you expect for drop at
comb, drop at heel, pitch, length of
pull and balance. |

To the
right is an owner supplied blank and
finish job, I did the duplication for
$120 |
